Darren Goodman

An artist by nature, Darren Goodman grew up in a small town near Cincinnati, Ohio. After sampling several majors as an undergrad at Bowling Green State, Goodman realized his true passion as a craftsman and artist and began working with glassblowing. Citing his mother’s glass collection as inspiration, he earned a BFA in glass in 2003 and has worked under renowned glass artist Leon Applebaum, an innovator in the modern studio glass movement.

Darren Goodman has been working as an independent studio glass artist since 2004. He has won several awards, including First Prize in Glass from the 2006 Loveland Art Show, and his work resides in several local galleries. He specializes in vases, bowls, and sculptural glass and is available for custom pieces and demonstrations.
